Well I am just back from Wales, and once again cannot help but wax lyrical - bright blue skies, cold crisp mornings, clear nights with millions of stars and a roaring log fire in the bar. Even the farmers were raving about the views from the top of the valley - the best time for the views is early morning when the sun is shining on Snowdonia and every detail is picked out clear and crisp. Enjoy the view and then either back to the Lion for a full English breakfast or onward and upward for a brisk walk up Snowdon.
After all the rush of Christmas why not book a quiet few days in Gwytherin. If you get weather like the last few days it will give you a stay that you will remember all year.
For those interested the pictures are of the Carneddau and the Cledwen Valley
