While Abergele was shrouded in mist Gywtherin has had the most fantastic, clear, crisp and warm day. The morning started with frost on the ground, chased away by the rising sun. At lunch time the punters were outside with their beer and wine.
The day was rounded off by a quick walk up the hill to see the sun go down behind Snowdon's dark silhouette. The stark outline of Moel Siabod, Snowdon, Tryfan and the Glyders silhoueted against the bright orange, western sky.
There is something about silhouetes. I spent a couple of months at a hospital in the Himalayas and each evening watched the sun go down behind LigLig mountian, with the high Himalaya behind.
After tonight I have another silhouete to add to the memories.
