Why would you stay at the Lion Inn?

We are always keen to know the answer to that question.  So we ask on our feedback sheet: what did you see, where did you go, what did you like, would you come back?

Well of the many reasons we have had over the years we have had a new one this weekend:
'No light pollution'.

At midnight on Saturday the stars were amazing - so many, so bright.  It brought back memories of when we lived in Nigeria; true enough the temperature was differnt but that same clarity, the same myriad  of stars in God's creation.
